Waxing Services

Your hair must be at least 1/4 inch long for the wax to properly adhere to the hair. 

• We recommend to stop shaving 2-3 weeks prior to a wax to ensure your hair is the appropriate length.
• Gently exfoliate the area 24-48 hours prior to your appointment to lessen ingrown hairs and diminishes the dead skin cells clogging your pores. Do not exfoliate the day of your appointment!
• Plan accordingly for sensitivity.
• Stay hydrated.
• No excessive drinking the day or or day prior to your appointment. This can cause excessive bleeding. Avoid anything that can thin out your blood or skin.
• Your skin can be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle so consider booking between your cycles.

• No swimming, sweating, saunas, tanning, hot showers or exercising.
• Avoid deodorant,  powders, makeup, scented products or lotions on the treatment area.
• No touching or scratching the area. Always make sure your hands area clean!
• Wear clean loose fit clothing with natural fibers if possible.
• Avoid sexual activity if waxing intimate areas.

NO, shaving can stimulate hair growth, cause irritation and ingrown hairs, can make your next appointment uncomfortable, and will break the pattern on your hair growth cycle causing trouble  your next wax.

• Anyone with eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, cold sores or open or cracked skin in the treatment area. Keep in mind waxing can cause flare ups.
• Severe various veins in the treatment areas.
• Sunburned skin or recently spray tanned.
• Currently taking antibiotics as you can be more sensitive to waxing.
• Taking blood thinners.
